GALVANIZED COIL
A thin steel sheet that is dipped into a bath of molten zinc to attach a layer of zinc to its surface. It is mainly produced by a continuous galvanizing process, in which a steel sheet coil is continuously dipped into a bath of molten zinc to make a galvanized steel sheet; alloy galvanized steel sheet. This steel sheet is also made by hot-dip galvanizing, but is immediately heated to about 500°C after leaving the galvanizing bath to produce an alloy coating of zinc and iron. This galvanized coil has good paint adhesion and weldability.
