G550 GALVANIZED COIL

Galvanized coil, a thin steel sheet, is immersed in a molten zinc bath to attach a layer of zinc to its surface. It is mainly produced by a continuous galvanizing process, in which the steel sheet coil is continuously immersed in a molten zinc bath to make a galvanized steel sheet; alloy galvanized steel sheet. This steel sheet is also made by hot-dip galvanizing, but is immediately heated to about 500°C after leaving the galvanizing bath to produce an alloy coating of zinc and iron. This galvanized coil has good paint adhesion and weldability.

Galvanized coil G550 belongs to the high-strength series of galvanized sheets, which have high requirements for tensile strength and yield strength. Its yield strength is minimum 560Mpa, tensile strength is minimum 650Mpa, zinc layer thickness is 275g/m2, and it has strong corrosion resistance. It is mainly used for building structures with high strength requirements, such as Z-shaped steel, C-shaped steel, floor decking, etc.
