PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Copper wire scrap is copper wire that has been discarded after use or is a waste material from the copper industry production process. These copper wire scrap can be recycled and reused as a renewable and recyclable resource. The recycling process of copper wire scrap includes steps such as remelting in a refurnace, refining, and electrolysis to recover it in the form of refined copper, which is then used to process it into new copper. The classification of copper wire scrap includes new copper scrap and old copper scrap. New copper scrap mainly comes from the waste materials in the production process of the copper industry, while old copper scrap is items that are discarded after use, such as scrap copper wire discarded or dismantled from old buildings and transportation systems. Recycling of copper wire scrap is important for reducing resource waste and promoting circular economy
Virtually all copper scrap can be regenerated. The regeneration process is simple. First of all, the collected copper scrap is sorted, and the uncontaminated copper scrap or copper alloy with the same composition can be melted back to the furnace for direct use, and the seriously contaminated copper scrap should be further refined to remove impurities; for the copper alloy scrap mixed with each other, it needs to be melted and adjusted for composition. Through such regeneration treatment, the physical and chemical properties of copper are not damaged, so that it can be completely renewed.
