PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Carbon steel coil is an iron-carbon alloy with a carbon content between 0.0218% and 2.11%, also known as carbon steel. It usually also contains small amounts of elements such as silicon, manganese, sulfur and phosphorus. The higher the carbon content of carbon steel coil, the higher its hardness and strength, but the plasticity will decrease.

PRODUCT USE

Carbon steel coil is widely used in many fields such as construction, machinery manufacturing, and shipbuilding. Its width usually ranges from 1250mm to 2000mm, suitable for various industrial applications.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

The production process of carbon steel coil includes hot pressing and cold pressing. Hot rolled coil is a processed product before the recrystallization of the steel billet, while cold rolled coil is the subsequent processing of hot rolled coil. For the convenience of storage and transportation, steel is usually processed into coils.
